Looking out over majestic Mount Wellington and three acres of heritage gardens, Cascade Brewery is an award winning venue that offers a picturesque bar, Brewhouse Restaurant, and function room with private bar. You can experience Australia’s oldest operating brewery, and indulge in the freshest Tasmanian Cascade beers and Mercury ciders at the Brewhouse bar. Also hosting a fantastic restaurant, The Cascade Brewhouse provides an adaptable venue for private events and functions, with areas suited to weddings, conferences and all manner of celebrations of up to 300 guests.

To make your function or wedding an especially memorable experience for you and your guests, we offer exclusive access and private use of our brewery for your celebration. With a choice of breathtaking ceremony locations available in our heritage gardens, you can continue the party with family & friends for your reception in the Degraves Room, where our chefs will spoil you with a variety of menus using delicious local produce. Our experienced & professional team will ensure your day is extra special, and help you create your dream wedding full of wonderful memories.

For those with a passion for beer, cider or history, Cascade offers a range of brewery tours experiences for true beer lovers, as well as beer school that’s designed for the ultimate beer enthusiast. With an extensive heritage dating back to 1832, our guides will share Cascade’s fabled recipe; a dash of history, a healthy dose of Tasmania’s finest ingredients and a generous amount of brewing craft. Following the tour, you can either sample from a range of Cascade beers and Mercury ciders, feed your appetite and stay for lunch, or browse our store for souvenirs as a keepsake to remember your visit.
